Free Beer, Hot Wings and Zane watched a video from an Australian morning news program this morning. Were the guys brushing up on their Aussie lingo? Or working on adding another bad accent to their repertoire?

Not exactly.

The video they watched was of Network Ten Breakfast reporter Joe Hill, who attempted to do a live piece in front of a shopping mall call the Burnside Village. As Hill talked about a 100-year old gum tree that was dying because of being inside the mall, he was interrupted by a mall cop.

“I wonder if that security guard did that on his own,” said Free Beer. We can’t tell either if the mall cop was super into the small amount of power his job granted him or was just having a bit of fun trolling a live TV news program.

“I stopped an Orange Julius theft yesterday,” said Hot Wings as he poked fun at the idea of a gung ho mall cop.

Whatever the case may be, it’s clear that the anchors were having fun. the anchors. After Hill tried to throw it back to the Network Ten Breakfast studio, they tossed it right back at him and seemed to relish in watching Hill squirm. Apparently the Network Ten Breakfast consists of several tallboys of Fosters.

“The only security guards I worry about are the ones in suits,” said Zane, insisting that they were the ones that really knew how to mess you up.
