American Idol Rocker James Durbin Signs Record Deal – Working On New Album

James Durbin, the rocker from the recent season of American Idol, recently inked a record deal with Wind-Up Records. He's currently in the studio working on his debut album, which is scheduled to be released in November.  The album is being produced by Howard Benson, a Grammy nominated producer who has worked with My Chemical Romance, P.O.D. and 3 Doors Down.

As reported by hennemusic, “Wind-up Records isn’t a label, it’s a family and I wanted to be a part of that,” says Durbin. “They are true music fans that want to see me have a long career as an artist. I couldn’t have asked for more when signing a record deal.”
