Fantasy football rocks, but no league tends to rock more than the Alice in Chains & Friends league, which is now entering its eighth season. Alice's Jerry Cantrell and Mike Inez are back as participants in the league and have invited some fellow musicians, celebrities and NFL types to join in on the fun this year.

Hellyeah's Vinnie Paul, Guns N' Roses' Duff McKagan, Anthrax's Scott Ian, Gaslight Anthem's Benny Horowitz, NFL Network anchor Rich Eisen, actor Michael Rapaport, former NFL running back Maurice Jones-Drew and NFL.com fantasy football columnist Michael Fabiano will all field teams in the league, and as we've seen in the past, some of the side bets have paid off in magnificent ways. Just last year, Cantrell was a guest on Eisen's show in which the host was forced to dress up as a member of Steel Panther after losing out on a bet. See footage of that here.

As part of the league, there is also a companion online auction filled with awesome memorabilia from both the music and sports worlds. Among the items up for auction is a guitar lesson with Jerry Cantrell, a bass guitar signed by the members of Guns N’ Roses, a guitar signed by Deftones, a pinstripe Viking guitar signed by Zakk Wylde, a football signed by members of the NFL Hall of Fame, a football signed by 2017 Hall of Fame inductee Kurt Warner and much more. Head here to see all of the items on the block.

All proceeds for the charity will go to honor two musicians that many in the league were close to -- Soundgarden's Chris Cornell and Linkin Park's Chester Bennington. The proceeds from the auction will be divvied up to MusiCares on behalf of Cornell and Music for Relief for Bennington. In the past, the Alice in Chains & Friends fantasy football league has donated proceeds to provide protective gear and training for those assisting in an Ebola Prevention Initiative and helped out MusiCares' health and human services.

The league's reigning champ gets to decide the destination of the proceeds and it was Cantrell's choosing that this year's recipients of the auction funding be done in Cornell and Bennington's name. The auction starts today and runs through Aug. 24.
