24-Karat Gold Chicken Wings Exist For Some Reason [Video]

The Ainsworth in New York is offering a very expensive chicken wing dinner.

For $1,000 you can get a 24-karat gold chicken wing dinner complete with some fancy champagne. The wings are marinated in coconut butter, gold butter, chipotle, and honey batter for 24 hours. Then they are dusted with real gold flakes before being served with a gourmet bleu cheese dipping sauce.

Sounds pretty ridiculous to me, but hey...I've never lived that kinda lifestyle.

When you break it down, for just the gold wings it isn't all that expensive. It's mainly the champagne that costs so much for the $1,000 meal.

You can get 10 wings for $30. The $1,000 meal comes with 50 wings plus Jay Z's champagne Armand de Brignac.
