A 13-year-old boy in New Orleans was robbed at gunpoint for his Hovertrax, which is also known as the hoverboard. This is the toy that has been banned from schools and other public places, due to it being very dangerous and burning homes down.

New Orleans Police say the 13-year-old had a gun pulled on him Tuesday evening in eastern New Orleans and 19-year-old Tyran Smith is the suspect that is in custody.

The police report says that the boy was riding the Hovertrax when Smith approached him with a gun and demanded that he hand over the hoverboard. The robbery happened around 6:50 p.m. on the 9000 block of Morrison Road in eastern New Orleans.
